The system is on and operational. If you aren't receiving water please let us know.
As many of you are aware our irrigation pump system has given us some problems again this year. The main pump and one of the smaller pumps had to be replaced. The smaller pump was replaced under warranty.
The board will be evaluating some long term planning for our pumps to try and minimize problems and expenses as best we can.
One of the 2 filters if currently offline. It has a hole in its metal housing we are attempting to have fixed. The water may not be as clean with only one filter operating.

Do we ever check the system in the off season for bad pumps and broken filters? Or do we wait and flip the switch at the start of every spring and cross our fingers? I bet buying pumps and filters in December is cheeper than buying them in May. We need better management of this system.
ReplyDeleteThirsty, it's probably difficult to check pumps when there is no water and everything is frozen. Just a thought. The Summerfield HOA is doing everything they can to update our system currently and hope to inform you of the updates soon. :~)
